Is my donation tax-deductible?
A Hand to Humanity is a registered NGO under the Cameroon Ministry of Territorial Administration. Tax-deductibility depends on your country of residence. Donors in the United States and Europe should consult their local tax advisor. We issue an automatic receipt for every donation, which can be used as supporting documentation. -
How do I get a receipt?
A confirmation email with a downloadable receipt is sent automatically within minutes of your donation. If you do not receive it, check your spam folder or contact us at contact@ahandtohumanity-ngo.org with the date and amount of your gift. -
Can I designate my gift to a specific program?
Yes. The three donation forms above are designated to specific causes: Healthcare & Medical, Orphanage & Child Welfare, and Drug Recovery. For custom designations (e.g. a specific region or partner orphanage), contact us directly — we can route your gift to the program of your choice. -
Can I cancel or change a monthly donation?
Yes, at any time. You can pause, modify, or cancel a recurring gift by logging into your donor account or by emailing us at contact@ahandtohumanity-ngo.org. We never lock donors into commitments. -
How is my personal data protected?
Payment information is processed by Stripe and PayPal — we never store your card details on our servers. Your email and contact details are used only for receipts and (optionally) impact updates. We do not sell, rent, or share donor data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details. -
Where can I see how my money was used?
We publish a public annual report each year (Source: A Hand to Humanity Annual Report 2025) and send field updates to all donors. 84% of every donation reaches programme delivery, 11% covers field operations, 5% covers administration — tracked, audited, and verifiable.
